Eidon Life 2018 Campaign Shoot
When I got the call that I’d be going to Costa Rica for a week to shoot for Eidon Life again, I was ecstatic. Central America is somewhere I’ve always wanted to go because of all the unique creatures (crocodiles, monkeys, and slows- just to name a few) and the warm, uncrowded waves. I was also excited to reunite with the crew that I had shot with last May in Jamaica.
I flew into San Jose Airport and then hopped in a taxi for a three hour drive south to Dominical. It was a beautiful drive amongst palm trees and bridges over rivers with crocodiles floating at the surface. It started pouring rain halfway to my destination, and I loved how refreshed it made me feel because it was sweltering in the car.
We had a house right on the beach, which was ideal because we spent most of the time shooting right outside. We’d wake up at 5 am and start shooting by 6am until around 10. Then we’d have a break until later on in the afternoon when the light got good again. That left me with a lot of free time, which I’d often spend surfing, napping or swimming in our pool.
Watch out for the campaign later this year!
Here’s a sneak peak…
I was in Dominical in February and I love it! I’ve been to Costa Rica five times already (cause i leave in Panama, right next to CR) and it’s one of my favorite country in the world! So happy you enjoyed this trip. Hope to see you really soon in Panama (uncrowded spots, endless beaches, moutains, islands…)
