Adventuring in Santa Barbara
Adventure can be found anywhere. I met up with Reef Girls to explore Santa Barbara… somewhere I recently moved to for school.
Santa Barbara is a unique place. From the mountains to the ocean, Spanish architecture, and art in Downtown, there’s always something to do… always something to discover. I love the sleepy surf town vibes, and driving up and down the scenic coast to surf Rincon or the breaks right at my school.
I love the ocean because it’s where I can detach from all my worries back on land and find freedom- even for just a little while. And at the end of the day, there’s no better way to experience the sunset than from the ocean. To then emerge a brand new person, salty and happy.
Other than surfing and being in the water, the mountains are another place to getaway.
Being out in nature is the best kind of therapy… whether it’s in the mountains or in the ocean there’s no better way to clear your mind and be inspired…
There’s much to see in Downtown Santa Barbara as well…
“One of my goals in the New Year is to stop thinking about how good life could be if I’m somewhere else, and to live in the present circumstances. More often then not, there’s adventure to be found right in your backyard.”
