Spring is here and I couldn’t be happier about it. It was a cold, gloomy, and long winter… the coldest winter at home in my memory. On a positive note, all that rainfall each day brought our water levels up, getting California out of a long drought. It also transformed the landscape from brown and dry to lush, green fields dotted with wildflowers. So in hindsight, the rainy winter wasn’t all too bad because it led to the most beautiful spring landscape all throughout southern California that I’ve ever seen.
I wore the ‘Babes of Babylon’ playsuit from Show Me Your Mumu with a pair of black ankle booties from Call it Spring. I chose to accessorize with black and gold/silver elements- the ‘Outcast Fringe Backpack’ from White Fox Boutique, and shiny pieces of jewelry from Shashi and Electric Picks.
I don’t normally wear maxi dresses, but the ‘Blue Temple Maxi’ from Kivari the Label was too beautiful to pass up. It reminds me of country living on the Gold Coast of Australia, and wearing it takes me away to a faraway place without actually having to go nywhere. Something about this particular maxi is dreamy and feminine, and I felt graceful as soon as I put it on.
