Fashion inspiration for tropical environments.
When in Hawaii, or anywhere tropical for that matter, I opt for light pieces, like the Magnolia romper from Auguste the Label. Rompers are my favorite because you can dress them up or down. I wanted to go for a “beachy luxe” look. I dressed up my romper with a silver-coin Turkish style necklace from Ibiza Passion and a silver watch from Laval. To give the look an overall more casual beach-girl vibe, I threw my hair up in a loose bun with pieces hanging down on my face to make it look messier and undone. For my makeup, I used bronzer on my cheeks and shadow-liner and mascara for my eyes. Usually lots of eye makeup is used for dressier outfits, but to make it more casual I used a smudging technique. This look was all about contrasting luxury with the laid-black Hawaii feel.
For the second look, I used the same makeup and accessories, but a different romper, from Spell Byron Bay. I let my hair down for the second look to give some variation.
